Luft besteht aus plus und minus lonen (elektrisch geladene Teilchen).
Durch Fernseher, Radio, Heizung, Zigarettenrauch und auch menschliche Tätigkeiten entsteht eine Sättigung der Luft mit plus lonen. Dies wiederum ist der Grund für ein schlechteres Wohlbefinden und geringere körperliche und seelische Leistungsfähigkeit.
In unserer heutigen Umwelt gibt es sehr viele Quellen von plus lonen und das führt zu einer Störung des Gleichgewichtszustandes der Luft.
Die Salzkristall-Lampe dient als Spender von minus lonen und sollte daher in keinem Büro oder Wohnraum fehlen, in dem es Computer, Radio, Fernseher usw. gibt. Die optimale Anzahl der Minus lonen im geschlossenen Raum sollte zwischen 1000 und 1500 pro m³.
Durch die intensive Farbgebung der eingeschalteten Lampe bewährt sie sich ideal für die Farbtherapie. Das Salzkristallteelicht ist für die Farbtherapie nicht ausreichend.
Eine Salzkristall-Lampe mit einem Gewicht von ca. 3,5 bis 7 kg sättigt die Luft mit etwa 1000 minus lonen pro m³. Das Teelicht hingegen sättigt die Luft mit ca. 500 minus lonen pro m³.
